Fresh Cut

Since the last post was written materials have been purchased and the computer model has been exported to the routing machine. This model of the step will be cut out of wood, though the final model will be out of plastic. The top step will be routed out of plastic because the spreading support for the piston will fully attached. The reason it is going to be in one piece is because the original model had a metal plate that did not work as well. Before Monday, November 6th the second model will be cut out and tested for functionality.
