The Elevation team has been working on making a solder ball on the end of the wire which controls the piston. This has been a bump in the road because the device made to hold the solder and flux was difficult to make and work with. After hours of trial and error, the team was able to put together the correct flux to solder ratio for the solder ball to be removed easily while attached to the wire. Within the last few hours the team was able to make a wire, the exact length needed to control the piston. In the upcoming work sessions the wire will be fully assembled and tested. There are two full calendar weeks before the Ingenuity Exhibition on May the fourth. The team will post a progress report at the end of next week once the team meets for progress updates.
